Singing, dancing, playing

Nina has been going all over the Twin Cities, playing, laughing, and smiling everywhere she goes. She had a great Saturday with grandma and grandpa around Como and had fun at the WBL math bbq with 8 other little friends. Nina is reading books by herself and loves bring her favorite ones to mom and dad for them to read. She's working on getting the actions down to some of the songs too.

Climbing and playing

Nina is crawling all over the furniture and getting into more and more things she doesn't need to.  This morning she opened the cupboard, found her favorite treats, pulled them out, opened the cover, and started snacking.  She wasn't thrilled to see them go to the top shelf, although we're afraid she might be up for the challenge. 

She had a great time hanging out with Aunt Rocky and was amazed to meet someone who had more energy than her own.  Nina also enjoyed playing with her new friend Henry Pence.  They talked, played, and crawled all over.  Henry wasn't so thrilled about Nina's habit of knocking down the tent-house when he was still in the middle of it, poor guy. 

Mother's Day and More

With the return of the sunshine, we've gotten to enjoy Como - walking around the lake or conservatory 5 days in a row. Nina has been barking at dogs, smelling and then uprooting flowers, and dancing to the big bands playing in the pavillion.

Running amok

Nina has been extremely busy as of late.  She must investigate every sound, object, nook, and cranny.  She's having fun demonstrating her busy lifestyle for Nana, who's come to visit during our lovely Minnesota spring.  Luckily, Nina is keeping her active, running all throughout the house.

We got some professional pictures done the other day and while we're still waiting on the higher-resolution pictures, here are some of our favorites. We're glad she got these taken before she came down with her current cold!

10 Months

Nina has hit double digits! She's crawling, climbing, and cruising at a much faster pace than her parents can maintain. She's always thrilled to see dogs, be outside, and play with her friends.

Fish face

Nina thinks her new fish face is pretty funny.  We do too.
