感谢 (thankful)

November is a blur as the girls are busy with all sorts of activities, Ben has started coaching again, and Kara is volunteering at even more places (and singing at some, haha).  We hosted a Thanksgiving celebration and had a wonderful evening full of laughs and good food (that we had catered).  A few recent trends for the girls would be that Nina has started speaking in a British accent at times and loves to say, "How dare you?" while Vivian loves doing the splits and seems to be doing them all the time.

Hallo-win

It was another successful Halloween season as the girls got to trick-or-treat twice and go to fun parties to boot.  The girls had fun decorating cookies, playing games, and getting twice the treats.  They also had character dress-up day at school tied to book week.  Vivian was Gerald from Piggie and Elephant and Nina got to meet with author Nicky Dee.

We mailed our absentee ballots a few weeks ago and feel privileged to still be able to vote in our country.
