Nina turns the big 4 months today! She's celebrating with both grandmas, the lucky girl. She sends a hug to her family traveling in Europe. The latest video is a little long, but Nina thinks it's worth a look.

Halloween!
Nina had a lot of fun celebrating her first big holiday. She dressed up in her 'boo-hoo' sleeper, waited up for The Great Pumpkin, and handed out treats. She can see why it's Uncle Adam's favorite day of the year!
Nina appears to be coming down with a bit of a cold (runny nose, coughing, sneezing) so please send good thoughts towards a full recovery and strong anti-bodies.

Interview
Now that Nina is approaching 4 months, we're trying to get her to sleep through the night by dwindling the amount she drinks in her middle-of-the-night feedings. So far, she's doing a great job, and we asked Nina about her thoughts. Here is her response:
Nina continues to play peek-a-boo and is rolling a lot more. She likes to roll to get toys and roll under the coffee table (maybe she feels well-protected there ;)

New Friends, more thanks
Nina has loved meeting some new friends and has to thank more people for all their generosity and kindness. She enjoyed hanging out with Lucy and her mom, Nicole, and ended up pretty worn out by photo time. She had a wonderful time meeting our great realtor and friend, Lynn Ritter, who gave her the personalized blanket that she adores. Also, thanks go to Ben's coworker Joe Dimeglio who gave us his jogging stroller. We can't wait to use it!
Much love to Paul and Karen who are getting married today. Wish we could be in Switzerland with you to celebrate, instead, we are off to bath time!

More Baptism Photos
Here are the excellent photos taken by Michael Benham. He is a generous member of our church and took plenty of his time to help document this special day. Thanks again to all who could make it to Nina's baptism, especially on such short notice. It was tough to get schedules together, especially with the Godparents and the church's threat of closing (it made the cut and will survive!). We feel so very blessed!

Still smiling
Nina has been happy to hang out over MEA and we're trying to enjoy the last few warm days of the year.
Nina also loved spending a day with Aunt Annie. They laughed, talked, napped, repeated. Nina showed Annie her ability to grab things by yanking her aunt's hair. Annie took some more great photos.
Nina might not know what she's doing yet, but she loves pulling blankets over her head and laughing as she's in charge of peek-a-boo. This video is as she's wearing down, but still laughs a bit near the end.

Apple Orchard
Nina went to the apple orchard/pumpkin patch in White Bear Lake and had a fun time. She really enjoyed watching the other kids dance around while listening to the musician.
Nina was sad to see Aunt Cassie leave once again. It will be fun to visit her in Florida, hopefully at Christmas - Nina's first trip to the ocean! Below she is sporting some jeans that Cassie bought her. She enjoyed looking like such a big girl, even though Nebraska lost. She's also modeling one of her favorite new sleepers from Nana.
