August

Summer has disappeared on us yet again, but we had a great final month.  We celebrated more birthdays, went golfing, swam, kayaked, played with neighbors, went to the science museum and took our first family camping trip. We had a wonderful time, the weather was perfect, and we all slept well enough.  Sadly, all three girls came down with covid so that knocked out some days, but we had a fun month nonetheless.  Covid isolation gave the girls more time to spend with their new hamsters.  Nina has Fred and Pip has Ginny, who was formerly, and sometimes is still, known as Marinette. The girls have been responsible with them so far and it has been nice as they are not overly needy pets.

Annual July things

We took the latest installment of the annual photos at Como; it's wild how much the girls continue to grow and change.  Annie was kind enough to take family photos of us again this year. Thank you, Annie! And the cherry to top it off.

July

It's been a busy and wonderful month.  The girls really enjoyed having birthday celebrations this year.  Nina and her friends did a Harry Potter escape room and then went to her favorite, Olive Garden.  Pip and her friends went to Feed My Starving Children, were they worked together to package food for those in need.  It was great fun to party with family in town too.

It's also been very fun to have neighbors to play with and celebrate with.  Trips to the park, cookouts, bonfires and Fourth of July parties have been excellent this month.  The girls are making two trips to Nebraska as well and then Ben will finish up his time at 3M at the end of the month.
