Well back to the ER go the Naks; it was Dada's turn this time. Ben broke his ankle playing basketball and the doctors advised he stay on crutches for 6 weeks, then a month in a walking boot. Not the start to the summer we were planning. Nina has decided that since Dada isn't walking she would pick up the slack and has started taking some steps. Kara is excited to be the only parent capable of keeping up with the little speedster. We've attached cute photos of Nina standing around a not-so-cute picture of Ben's ankle after 4 hours of icing to make the swelling go down.

ReplyDeleteOh, my, what an awful way to start/spend the summer - 10 wks. hope it's a conservative est. Sure hope your cars are automatic rather than manual.
