Pip packs a punch

Pip is quite the character and we thought we should document a few of the recent stories.  To start, she has been using the potty for a while now and we're happy to be done with diapers.  She quit cold turkey one day.  Next, when the girls were being babysat, Pip got upset around bedtime and tried to barricade herself in the bathroom.  She put all 30 of her pounds up against the door to try to keep the high school girls at bay.  Lastly, the other day at daycare, Barb was telling another parent about how Pip had been a bit feisty that day, and, right on cue, they see every kid at daycare nicely riding their bikes in a clockwise circle except one; Pip was going counterclockwise and yelling at the other four kids because they were all going the wrong way.  It is pretty fitting that her current favorite song is "Fight Song" and it cracks us up to hear her wander the house singing it.  Her favorite food is sesame chicken and she requests it a few times a week.  She has also started smacking her lips when telling stories to add a bit more attitude to her anecdotes.

We went to the annual tree lighting in Saint Paul and started to catch a bit of the Christmas spirit.  But first, a Nebraskan Thanksgiving!  Off we go!  Blessings to all!
