Fall is upon us and time is going quickly. Kara is having a good birthday and the girls have been cute and supportive. 90% of the way through opening her presents, Pip stopped and said, "Oh Mom, I almost forgot, happy birthday." Nina made Kara a card and lost another tooth as a bonus gift. The girls have gotten their own gifts of new beds. Nina is already sleeping much better.
Otherwise we have been busy with school. The girls often have new songs, stories, and projects to show. It is fun to listen to them share information in the car after a school day and chat about what in their day was similar. Nina likes playing soccer and baseball when we get home. Pip prefers to ride bikes and go to the parks or zoo, but they've been compromising fairly well.
We were all very excited for the girls to have a sleepover at Maggie's house. They got to play games, make crafts, watch movies, and even had a trip to the Arboretum. Annie takes darn good photos and we're lucky to benefit from her talents. Thank you, Annie!
